HIIT : Time to kill some fat

HIGH INTENSIVE INTERVAL TRAINING

This workout includes a fixed period of intense activity coupled with a fixed period of less intense or complete rest. Not only is it good for heart , but you can do this when you are running short of time.

HIIT increases metabolic rate and reduce resistance to insulin - and this helps you reduce weight not muscle.While the ideal workout time of HIIT is 5 minutes to 20 minutes , more than 30 minutes can cause overuse injuries.

Some popular HIIT exercise are side-lunges,  alternating side lunges, mountain climbers, forearm planks.
